COHBS Provident Fund

The Conference of Heads of Basic Schools Provident Fund (COHBS- PF) is a specialized provident fund created to cushion Heads of Basic Schools with a lump sum of money when going on retirement. The Fund has a Board of Trustees.

Members make monthly contributions of GH¢30.00 (or multiples of GH¢30) which is deducted at source from Controller and Accountant General Department (CAGD) until retirement.

The fund has a track record of paying retiring members within the shortest possible time. Over a 1000 retirees have benefited satisfactorily from this fund since its inception, over 7 years ago.
